What do you think of this so far?

I like to write books, and I've been working on one (It doesn't have a name yet) And it's going to be part of a series. Well, I just want to know what you guys think of it so far?




Kylee

Chapter 1

*beep beep beep beep* Kylee’s alarm rang and she rolled out of bed. Finally, The last day of school! She got ready for school, then ran out to the bus stop. Her friend Lanie was already there, and she was looking at a book

about wild plants. “Did you know that dandelions are edible? “ Lanie always asked questions like that. “No.” Kylee answered. “So are clovers.” Lanie stated again. “Hey after school, do you want to go to the mall?” Kylee tried to change the subject. “I can’t. My mom wants me home right after school.” Lanie answered. “Ok, well, text me.”

Chapter 2

After school, Lanie went home, and to her surprise, Kylee and her mother were there. “I have no idea why we’re here.” Kylee stated. “We’re going to tell you” Kylee’s mom replied. “We’re going on vacation together!” “Really?!” Lanie and Kylee screamed at the same time. “Where are we going?” “You’ll see.” Answered Lanie’s mom. “You’re both all packed, lets go!” Kylee’s mom said. “Now?” Kylee asked. When they were all in the car, and Kylee had gone back in and gotten her phone, they set off. Three hours later, they arrived.

Chapter 3

“When are we going to be there?” Kylee asked. “Now” replied her mom. “How can we be there if we are here?”Kylee asked. “There is here. This is where we are taking out vacation.” Kylee’s mom answered. Kylee looked around. All she saw were bugs, grass, dirt, mud, and trees. She was not going to like this. “But… It’s just dirt, mud and bugs! Where is the house?” “Right here.” Kylee’s mom replied plopping a tent down on the ground.

Chapter 4

After pitching the tent, Lanie’s mom said “You girls can do whatever you want, we’ll eat around 6, and tomorrow we’re getting up at 7 to go for a hike.” Kylee made a beeline for the hammock, and Lanie ran off to an empty patch of dirt.

Chapter 5

“Mom, how long are we going to be here?” Lanie asked her mom. “A couple of weeks. It’s going to be a pretty long vacation.” Her mom answered. “Ok, thanks.” Lanie had noticed a small shed behind a few trees, and she went to check it out. She was pleased to find it had gardening tools inside. She even found some seeds. She grabbed everything and ran back to her patch of dirt.
